Siemens has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Strategy Professional to join our Power Generation Services team based at our North Ryde office. 
This role will manage the function of Business Development and Strategy for the Controls and Digitalisation Solutions for rotating equipment in the the power generation and oil & gas markets. You will be involved in developing markets, customers and solutions for upgrades, growth, expansions, digitalisation and services offerings for control and digitalisation systems to existing and new customers in the power generation and oil & gas market.

Additional key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading strategy development to penetrate new areas of business within the power generation, and oil and gas sectors
  • Planning sales volumes and evaluating markets and needs of potential and existing customers
  • First time customer contacts and building/maintaining a customer focused network
  • Investigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for products and solutions

In order to be considered for this role it is likely that you will have the following:

  • Business Development experience within the power generation and / or oil & gas industries.
  • Knowledge of controls and digitalisation systems.  
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment 
  • Ability to analyse data and proposes recommendations for local market
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build sound working relationships 
  • A willingness and ability to travel within Australia
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred (not essential)
