With a diverse work portfolio in Canberra and across Australia, RPS is looking to appoint a Communications Consultant who will be responsible for developing and implementing communications, consultation and community relations strategies for major infrastructure and development projects. This role will initially be on a 3 month fixed term placement with a view to permanent.
To be considered for this role you must be an Australian citizen and have a current Commonwealth Government Baseline security clearance (http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva/).
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in Australian Government or developing and delivering communication, consultation and community relations strategies on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience writing briefings and correspondence.
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple competing tasks.
- Ability to contribute to the preparation and/or review communications.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
