About the role
Aztech Well Construction is seeking an HSE professional to join our team and support our various projects in the oil and gas industry.
The individual will primarily be office-based with responsibility for developing and implementing required HSE processes in support of operations and management. There will be occasional visits to site as required for auditing and oversight purposes.
The role will be based in Perth, WA.
Either fixed term contract or employee basis may be considered.
Skills and experience
- Experience and familiar with HSE petroleum regulatory requirements in Australia - both offshore (NOPSEMA) and onshore (State) jurisdictions
- Experience in petroleum drilling safety case regime
- Experience with drilling and completion operations
- Experience with production operations (preferred)
- > 10 years general oil and gas industry experience
- > 5 years working experience in HSE in similar roles
- Trained in Incident Investigation processes such as TAP Root
- Relevant qualification (such as Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety)
- Must be able to create high quality documentation and proficient with MS Office
- Must be able to present and communicate well with wide range of stakeholders across different levels of an organisation
