Undermanagers and deputies urgently required for a mining client of ours. ASAP start
Your new company
A successful mining client in NSW is looking to add experienced and immediately available Undermanagers / Deputies on their site for both day and night shifts available
Your new role
The Undermanager / Deputy statutory compliance with current mining legislation and the site Safety Management System. The successful candidate will
- Ensure that all workers are 100% inducted on the site and signed off before they start working a shift
- Ensure that on coming Deputy/Undermanager is briefed on work area status with regards to safety and compliance
- Demonstrate personal compliance to all elements of the Mine Operating System (MOS) including disciplined planning, delivery, accountability and urgency
- Complete a pre-shift briefing
- Be responsible for Shift Reporting
- Participate in incident investigations where required
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
- Deputy qualification
- Coal board medical
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to meet production targets
- Rights to work in Australia
