About The Role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Control Room Operator. You will be accountable for monitoring activity at the mine in line with the mine’s safety management systems, production plans and security systems.

Reporting to the Outbye Superintendent this role is responsible for monitoring the mine environment both surface and underground via the Citect computer network, providing first aid to the workforce including carrying-out post incident testing, communicating with production and maintenance personnel and ensuring rapid response to potential loss causing incidents.

About You

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience working with Pulse
• Ability to prioritise in a high-pressure environment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work as a team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly focused, motivated, and self-directed.
