About the business and the role
EML Maintenance is a labour hire company that was established in 2016, operating on various sites throughout the hunter valley. We specialise in plant machinery diagnosis and repair. Due to work demand from current clients we are seeking passionate and motivated plant mechanics to join our friendly team on site at Mt Arthur.

Job tasks and responsibilities
- This role will require the tradesman to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults and break downs on various heavy earth moving equipment such as;
- CAT trucks- 777F 789B/C 793C/D
- CAT dozers- D11R D10T
- CAT graders- 16M,24H
- Liebherr excavators- 9350 996 9800
- Komatsu excavators- PC 1250
- The tradesman will also carry out planned work such as component change outs on hours and routine servicing.
- Machine rebuilds are also being undertaken constantly off site by EML Maintenance.
Skills and experience
Experience and skills that will be an advantage are:
- Previous experience on Catapillar or Liebherr equipment is essential.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience.
- Self motivated worker.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Good customer/client skills.
- Cert III in automotive mechanical technology is essential.
- Various site inductions eg Pegasus, Damstra.(not essential).
- NSW drivers license.

This role has an attractive hourly rate on a lifestyle roster that is 5 on 4 off 4 on 5 off, with plenty of optional overtime available.
Permanent positions are available for all candidates after a 3 month probationary period.
