About the role
In order to achieve our vision of becoming a "market leading diversified underground mining services partner", we are now seeking appropriately qualified and experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at our modern maintenance facilities located in both Perth and Kalgoorlie. Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for completing all maintenance activities to a high standard of safety and workmanship aligned to industry best practice.

Your accountabilities and tasks will include:
- Undertake all tasks in alignment to Pit n Portal's Group Safety Management Plan and it's principles
- Ensure Pit n Portal's safety standards, policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Be customer focused prioritising on the required deliverables as an industry leading service provider
- Mobile plant rebuild, repair and component overhaul
- Field service commissioning and repairs

Skills and experience
Qualifications and skills required:
- Cert III Heavy Diesel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable and approachable
- Ability to complete field service work and call outs
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug / alcohol test
- Acceptable NPC record
- Right to work in Australia
- Current WA Drivers Licence
- Eye for detail and quality with a strong safety focus
Preferred experience:
- Minimum 3 years post trade experience in mobile plant maintenance
- Cat, Sandvik and Atlas Copco underground mining equipment experience essential
