Job Summary: WASS requires safety conscious Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers and Welders who are seeking shutdown work across the Pilbara and local work in Perth. Exposure to balanced machine works preferred. Ideally Rio Tinto / Roy Hill Inducted.

WA Site Services Pty Ltd (WASS) is a leading provider of mechanical and balanced machine maintenance, repair and support services to the Western Australian mining and resources sector.
The Position:
WASS requires trade qualified Fitters, Boilermakers and Welders who are capable of completing the above mentioned boutique and specialised works. Furthermore, WASS has a strong safety focus due to our regimented contracts with our Top-Tier Clients. You will be required to support a safe work culture at all times.
To be considered for these casual positions, interested applicants are required to have:
- A recognised Australian Trade qualification
- Coded Welders to provide Coded Welding Certificate
- Working at Heights ticket
- Confined Space ticket
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in mechanical shutdowns
- Proven experience working with balanced machines
- Rights to work in Australia
- MUST BE PERTH BASED
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug & alcohol assessment
- Proven safety and quality focus
- Current Drivers Licence (HR licence highly regarded)
- Rio Tinto inducted (highly regarded)
- Roy Hill inducted (highly regarded)
- MSIC (highly regarded)
- Riggers ticket (highly regarded)
- OHS qualification (highly regarded)
