This position is for the operation and service delivery of Dust Suppression, Refuse Collection, Waste Facility Management, & Daily Refuelling of site generators. Indigenous applicants encouraged.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous mine site/FIFO experience
- Good physical health & fitness (able to pass detailed medical)
- Good police record, police clearance essential
- Experience operating 8 speed Road Rangers & loader
- Experience and knowledge in truck servicing, tyre fitting & maintenance (desirable)
- Adaptable & flexible with daily tasks
- Positive attitude & team mentality
- Hard work ethic & willingness to go above and beyond what is required
Role Responsibilities
Rotating on the following roles:
- Operate side loading Rubbish Truck
- Operate 20T Skip Bin Truck
- Operate IT/Front End Loader to manage daily Earthworks and general upkeep of Waste Management Facility
- Operate Water Cart
- Operate Fuel Truck and conduct genset filling around site
- Daily record entry (written)
- Conduct daily equipment pre-starts, attend safety meetings & abide by OHS policies and procedures
- Perform non-technical maintenance on machinery used
- Report to supervisor daily & follow all reasonable directions
This is a temporary role- full time hours with a strong possibility of going permanent for the right person.
