Zenith Pacific develops, operates and maintains energy infrastructure/power stations throughout Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and Asia Pacific.

Due to continual growth, we are seeking to fill some newly created roles which are to be based primarily at one of our remote sites in Western Australia. There may be a requirement for the successful applicant to travel to a variety of sites as and when directed.

The position is based on a family friendly roster of 15 days on, 13 days off site (2/2).

These role will suit a qualified trades person with a current WA electrical license who has a flexible "can do", hands-on attitude and possesses the ability to work autonomously, with the highest regards being placed on safety.

Applicants are required to have previous experience in maintaining and operating a diesel and/or gas fuelled power station.

The successful applicant will be involved in carrying out a variety of duties required to maintain and operate a modern power station on a daily basis, including but not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with the Client and Zenith's Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• Undertaking of daily inspections of all aspects of the equipment associated with the power station
• Carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance to a variety of gas and diesel fuelled equipment
• Ensure the safe and reliable daily operation of the power station
• Assist in the development of safe working procedures
• Perform regular inspection and testing of site equipment
• Be available to attend to after hours "call outs" whilst on site
• Carry out routine maintenance to a wide variety of equipment associated with a modern power station
• Be able to work as part of a multi-disciplined work group
• Ensure that mandatory regulations are upheld
• Attend site meetings as and when required
• Assist with optimising the overall performance of the power station

  The ideal candidate we are seeking needs to meet the following criteria:-

• Demonstrate the highest regard for operational safety, health and the environment
• Have a proven background in power generation equipment, preferably with gas and diesel fuelled reciprocating engines
• Possess a current WA motor driver's license
• Be a flexible team member with a "can do" problem solving attitude
• Strong computer literacy
• Possess, or be able to obtain, a High Voltage Switching Certificate
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical as well as on-going random drug and alcohol screenings
• Display a willingness to hone current skills as well as learning new ones
• Be prepared to undertake a variety of works
• Reside in, or be prepared to re-locate to Perth, WA
