About Us
Greyhound is an iconic brand within the bus and coach industry. In addition to our long haul, charter, commuter and commercial resources business, we also operate the on-site four wheel drive bus services, partnering with several large mining companies across the Bowen Basin.
We are currently seeking applications from exceptional drivers interested in driving our fleet of 4WD Buses on Coal Mine sites in and around Moranbah.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Moving mine crews between work & crib sites
- Performing minor maintenance when required (e.g. changing tyres etc.)
- Conducting pre & post departure checks
- At all times ensuring the safety of yourself and your passengers
- Restocking of crib room supplies
- Ensuring your vehicle's cleanliness
- Maintaining your own fitness for work
Rotating roster of 6 days on and 3 days off, with a shift pattern consisting of 5am - 1pm; followed by a swing of 12pm - 8pm.
To become part of our team you will have:
- Current MR (Medium Rigid) or higher licence
- Current DA (Industry Drivers Authority) - or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated bus or coach driving experience
- A current Coal Board Medical
- Current first aid with CPR
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability and willingness to provide support in or outside of your daily duties
Previous experience in a similar Role working on mine sites – highly regarded
