Northern Oil & Gas Australia Pty Limited (NOGA) is a newly established independent oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia.
NOGA's foundation asset is the producing Laminaria and Corallina oil fields and associated infrastructure, including the Northern Endeavour FPSO, located in the Timor Sea approximately 550km NW of Darwin.
NOGA is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join its team based in West Perth, on a full-time basis. This role will report to the Asset Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of production operations of the FPSO ensuring that the facility remains within the operating envelope.
- Provide technical review and approval of changes to design, operations procedures and temporary deviations from the facility design/operations envelopes and standards.
- Oversight of facility production optimisation process and production plan and monthly production reporting.
- To provide cost leadership in the optimisation of the facility unit operating cost by improvements in fuel and chemical consumption.
- Monitoring and oversight of facility engineering changes, managed by contractors, through development phase, detailed engineering to approval of execution work packs.
- Monitoring of the Management of Change interfaces with the contract operations team and other supporting contractors.
- Interface with the Classification Society for the management of class requirements in support of the facility operations and maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Subsea production systems and well production operations, optimisation and assurance experience.
- Experience in coordination of oil and gas handover, commissioning and startup activities.
