What we are looking for:
As an Underground Service Rep, you will be responsible for assisting the growing demand for our services and supporting the overhauled products that G&S Engineering provide to our clients in the field. In addition to supporting our core products we offer tailored solutions to underground mining challenges. We are seeking high quality candidates to take ownership of the role. This may be establishing new or further developing your existing relationships with the customer by providing the highest level of technical support backed by G&S support to deliver on-time solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A strong and stable work background with at least 5 years’ experience working on underground equipment; Longwall or Development.
- Trade background in a mechanical or electrical discipline
- Strong understanding of underground mining process & operations
- Dynamic & flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to take the initiative and work autonomously or as a team, building strong client relationships and achieving results
- Strong safety standards and values
- Honesty and integrity
- Computer skills proficient in Microsoft suite – word, excel etc
