BTP is a subsidiary of Ausdrill Limited, and is one of Australia's leading suppliers of mining equipment parts, sales and rental services.
We currently have positions for experienced HD Plant Mechanics to join our experienced mainteance team based at Wambo mine site. You will be required maintain, service and repair and attend break downs of our heavy equipment on site.
Areas of responsibility:
- To conduct quality repairs and maintenance in a timely and safe manner
- Attend site call outs
- Repairs and maintenance as per instructed by Maintenance Department Supervisor/Manager
- Liaise with site personal in relation to repairs
- Hit list on hire and sale machines when required with detailed report
- Understand safety awareness & safe work practices
- Complete daily timesheets and reports.
Experience / Qualifications required:
- HD/Plant Trade qualified - Trade Certificate / Certificate of Proficiency and ideally Cert III with statement of attainment
- Previous mine site maintenance and repairs experience
- Previous experience working on CAT, Komastu and Hitachi mobile equipment
- HR Licence an advantage
- Forklift Licence
- Knowledge of Cat ET & Cat SIS software systems
Ideally you will also have:
- NSW mine site inductions - Not essential
- Working at heights ticket, EWP, Rigging/Dogging and Crane Tickets preferred but not essential
