About the Project
This is your chance to join the Mount Isa Copper Operations (MICO) Redpath team in an exciting Ground Support role. The Glencore Mount Isa Copper Mine is located in the heart of Mount Isa, close to local amenities in a family friendly community environment. The MICO Redpath team benefit from a near new fleet and the job security that comes from being in the early stages of a long term contract.
About the role
The successful applicants will be trained how to operate a fully automated concrete batch plant as well ticketed to operate a Volvo loader and Surface Agi Truck as well as maintaining your own equipment at our Mount Isa Copper Operation Batch Plant. This entry level stepping stone will lead to opportunities on other equipment on site if the candidate shows aptitude for the role. A trade background is essential to assist in basic service requirements on the Batch Plant fleet.
Flights from Brisbane and accommodation in Mount Isa will be provided to the successful applicants.
This position would be best suited to early career mechanics / fitters, or any trade qualified person looking to establish themselves in the mining industry.
