DIAB Engineering is a leading supplier of Plant Maintenance, Shutdown, Fabrication and Project services to the Mining resources and infrastructure sectors across Australia and internationally. We pride ourselves on ensuring that excellent customer service is provided at all times through our strong team culture, dedication and skills within the industry.
Our Cape Preston operations are currently seeking qualified crew members with proven experience to join our shutdown and maintenance team. This work is either roster, coverage or ongoing and includes 3-4 shuts regularly per month.
We are currently seeking:
2 Mechanical Fitters with Compressor maintenance experience for an 8:6 roster:
2 Mechanical Fitters with Crusher component experience for an 8:6 roster:
2 Mechanical Fitters with Crusher experience for a 2:1 roster;
1 Toolstore person with warehousing experience and a HC/MC licence for a 2:1 roster;
A C6 Crane Driver with an advanced Rigging ticket for a 2:1 roster:
An MC truck driver for a 8:6 roster:
We also require Fitters, Boilermakers and Advanced Riggers for regular ongoing work.
What's Required
Essential Criteria:
- Australian recognised trade certification (Cert III in Mechanical Fitting or Engineering Fabrication if applicable) OR HC/MC Licence
- Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work well in a team in remote areas
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
- Company and customer focused based
- Supply a current manual driver's license
- Hold a current Working at Heights ticket (issued within 5 years)
- Hold a current Confined Space ticket (issued within 5 years)
- Current High Risk Work License essential for Advanced Rigger Truck Driver position. Forklift and EWP are desirable however not essential
- Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
