With a deep expertise within both underground and open pit projects they are a partner of choice for many who rely on their collaborative style and ability to be innovative, compliant and optimised to achieve outcomes.   
 
With an exciting pipeline of work they are currently looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager to be based initially in Mali, West Africa for a 9 month duration. The project is a major underground mine expansion.  
 
Your Opportunity
This is a career-defining opportunity to take on and oversee the delivery of the electrical infrastructure of a multi-million dollar industrial underground resources project.

• 9 month contract role ( with the potential of further work once this contact is complete)
• FIFO roster – 7 weeks on: 4 weeks off
• Competitive remuneration, high profile project

Leading a team of talented engineers and technical professionals, you would manage electrical project works and develop strategies to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and to an exceptionally high standard.
 
Experience working in developing countries, a love for technically challenging underground resources projects and the ability to remain cool, calm and collected when facing ambiguity are the keys to success in this position.
 
Key Skills & Characteristics

• Strong experience in Electrical Project Management large-scale EPCM Project Management (projects in excess of $150 million);
• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical);
• Strong experience as an Electrical Engineer in mining and resources (10+ years’ experience);
• Underground experience;
• Exceptional intercultural communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams of professionals.
