The Opportunity

This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take the next step in their career whilst working for a global mining company. Working a dayshift lifestyle roster and reporting to the Superintendent/EEM this role provides support to various site departments for draglines, rope shovels & trucks, HV & LV reticulation systems, fire & radio systems, light vehicle maintenance, & some support equipment maintenance by reviewing, developing and maintaining cost effective strategies, plans & budgets to support the maintenance teams in meeting the objectives of the mine.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Coal Board Medical with AOD screen

• Current Standard 11

• QLD Drivers License

• Trade Qualification(Electrical or similar)

• SAP Systems Experience

• Microsoft Excel Proficient

• A strong focus on safety

• Proven ability to plan & schedule within specific time frames with strong attention to detail

• Experience in maintenance management systems & work management processes

• Application of Project Management principles

• Degree in Electrical Engineering - or similar (Preferred)
