The Position

We are currently recruiting for Heavy Diesel Mechanics to carry out all aspects of plant mechanical maintenance at our Kalgoorlie Workshop.

Please note: This role is a residential role. You must live in Kalgoorlie or be willing to relocate to Kalgoorlie

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor the Heavy Diesel Mechanic will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people as well as the following:

• Ongoing maintenance and service of earthmoving machines;
• Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets;
• Working with our customers to meet company objectives.

We are looking for

• A strong commitment to safety;
• Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification with significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar and Komatsu;
• Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus;
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team and;
• Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging, rigging, crane, work platform and working at heights classifications will be highly regarded.
