We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to work at our clients Kewdale based workshop. This role would ideally suit an new to industry (NTI) candidate looking for an opportunity to establish themselves within a well established global business.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Certificate within Mechanical Fitting/Engineering desirable
- Ideally some experience within mechanical maintenance or at least good mechanical aptitude required
- Willing to undertake various responsibilities to assist around the workshop, loading and unloading of containers, operating FL and overhead cranes
- Previous subsea or oil & gas exposure would be highly advantageous, however a good work ethic and a willingness to learn will supersede this
- Gear box, pneumatics, hydraulics repair and maintenance and pressure testing will form a large part of this role along with complete mechanical rebuilds and testing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills essential both written and verbal
The qualifications/certifications required include:
- Mechanical Certificates - Desirable
- Current Driving Licence
- Desirable Tickets: FL, EWP and basic Rigging/Dogging
