Due to recent growth, Basin Sands Logistics (BSL) are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Production Digger Operators to join our team at the Snapper and Ginkgo Mines located in the Murray Basin between Broken Hill and Mildura.
Suitable candidates must have;
- Must be able to meet required production targets
- Must have experience in surface mining operations
- Be able to demonstrate experience operating excavators in a mining environment
- Strong understanding of maintaining the flow & efficiency of production
- Ability to pull batters and double bench
- Able to understand GPS planning is an advantage
- Strong work ethic
- Proven safety track record
- Excellent communication skills
- Current drivers licence
Essential;
- Suitable candidates must have experience operating Hitachi EX2500, EX3500, EX3600 excavators
There are multiple vacancies for the role identified above. Successful candidates will work a 10 day on, 5 day off roster or and 8 on, 7 off roster which will include both day and night shift 12 hour days for the duration of the roster. Meals and accommodation also provided while rostered on.
These positions are not “Fly In, Fly Out” and successful candidates will be required to drive in and out from site prior to and at the conclusion of their roster.
