On behalf of our client, we are currently taking applications from experienced Excavator Operators for a current contract to permanent opportunity.
About the role
Working on a rotating roster of 2 weeks on with 1 week off, the successful applicants will be required to assist in meeting scheduled production targets, whilst safely and efficiently operating our clients equipment including the below excavators:
- CAT 6040, 6050 or 6060
- Liebherr 996
- Hitachi EX2500 or EX3600
Due to multiple positions being available across different sites candidates who hold experience on any of the above listed machines are encouraged to apply.
To be considered
In addition to holding at least 2 years recent open pit production mining experience, it is essential you have the following:
- Residence in Western Australia
- Proven experience operating the above listed excavators, gold mine site experience would be highly regarded
- Experience operating a range of ancillary equipment including CAT D10/D11 Dozers, CAT 994 Loaders & CAT 16M / 24M Graders
- A current HR driver's licence
- A recent National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
- The ability to pass all pre-employment medical requirements
- An exceptionally high standard for safety & compliance to site protocols
- The ability to provide a minimum of two contactable referees, relevant to your experience.
