Endeavour Energy and UGL have formed a long-term Alliance to maintain and upgrade electrical infrastructure assets.

 

We are currently seeking an energetic HSE Business Partner/Senior Advisor with diverse risk management experience to join the Asset Services team in Western Sydney.   

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

 

  • Integrating client and UGL HSE systems as required;
  • Implement, monitor and support a blended risk management framework;
  • In field verification of risk management practices;
  • Support and coach operations teams with best practice approach to risk mitigation;
  • Incident management and investigation;
  • Injury management and return to work programs;
  • Inspecting and Auditing project compliance to Alliance standards where required;
  • Provide advice to the contract leadership on lead indicator tracking and trend analysis;
  • Support the regional HSSE Manager and Alliance leadership with the roll out and implementation of HSE programs and initiatives;
  • Providing safety statistics on a monthly basis for inclusion in monthly reports;
  • Responsibilities as outlined in the role position description.

 

Minimum requirements;

  • Tertiary Qualification (Diploma or greater) in a Workplace Safety and Health related discipline;
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment;
  • Incident Investigation Trained (ICAM preferable);
  • Internal WHS Auditor (Environmental Auditing advantageous);
  • Minimum 5 years’ heavy industry and/or resources experience in a HSE role;
  • Extensive experience in a Contractor organisation;
  • In depth knowledge of the WH&S, Environment and Workers Compensation legislation;
  • Demonstrated capability to implement safety management systems;
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise demands, and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously whilst still meeting set deadlines.
