Multotec Australia is a proudly Australian company with expert mineral processing solutions suited to the Australian Mining Industry. Our company is part of a global organisation, but operating independently with the Head Office in Brisbane and branch offices in Newcastle, Mackay, Emerald, Perth and Newman.  We supply extensively into the iron ore and coal markets, as well across the range of other commodities. We have a strong team including sales staff, field service technicians, and technical support staff and manufacturing/design engineers.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Role Description

Reporting to the Screening Product Manager, the role will provide technical support to the Screening Department and Sales Team including but not limited to:

• Assisting with equipment design plans, inspection, trialing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and preparing technical reports as required
• Effective communication in order to ensure that the best possible technical solutions are developed will be a critical part of the role
• Assist with Technical sales inquiries for all branches, prepare quotations and technical tenders.
• Continuously monitor supply chain and quality of the supplied products to our clients with the high attention to detail and accuracy will be highly regarded.
• Continuously review and communicate requirements to achieve business growth within customer areas including but not limited to technical improvements, stock holding, competitor activity etc.
• Effective use of Multotec's ERP, CRM and other related IT support tools
• Office and site based work activities
• Some travel within Australia will be required

Skills and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or appropriate experience from working in a similar role such as Project Management or Technical Product Support Role 
• At least a year postgraduate experience in CAD, Creo Parametric will be highly regarded
• Previous experience with a METS company would be a distinct advantage
• Experience in iron ore, gold or gold processing will be highly regarded
• Pre-start medicals are required
