About the Role:
Trades Labour Hire have a new opportunity for Long Hole Production Drillers to operate Simba Drill Rigs at BHP Olympic Dam on a 2:1 Roster. Flights will be provided from Sydney with connecting Flights from Adelaide to Olympic Dam.
Relevant experience working in an Underground Environment & operating Long Hole Drill Rigs are essential to be considered.
Commencement on-site will be in July once an Induction & Pre-Employment Medical is completed.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant Underground Experience
- Prior experience operating Simba L6C or Simba M6
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Effective communication skills to work within a Team
- Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening
- Understanding of underground mine site safety compliance
- A proficient & motivated work ethic to work 12 hour shifts
- Commitment to long term employment
- Safety conscious attitude & understanding of mine site conditions
This position is FIFO from Sydney to Olympic Dam via Adelaide. Drillers in Regional NSW have the option to travel to Sydney directly.
