Procurement Officer

My client is globally recognised and is always looking to source and retain the best talent. As a leader in their field, they pride themselves on their culture and branding. The role of Procurement Officer is an immediate addition to the team and responsible for being the key point of contact within the procurement function

You will be accountable for:

• Providing support to the local procurement team across a range of duties, from travel bookings data analytics, supporting key analysts,
• Managing a general inbox for supplier queries and distributing to local internal contacts.
• Request for data and information,
• request for payment terms amendments,
• Someone who can be savvy ensuring queries are being handled appropriately whilst providing an efficient service.
• Involved in publishing scopes of work for upcoming work and maintain tracking systems providing work for outcomes of works to who they have been awarded to.
• Analytics involved, knowledge of SAP is helpful

You will have:

• The role can be very varied and busy with multiple actives going on, so we need a strong influencing and stakeholder management skills,
• You need to be an organised person possibly studying a tertiary qualification.
• The role is not a decision maker more a facilitator, so you will be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal.
