Utilise your energy market background with this successful diversified energy producer. They have a clear vision of evolving into clean and sustainable power generation for the future and have a need for extra resources in their modelling and analytics division.
Reporting to the Analytics Manager you will be accountable for:
- Delivering solutions to support the energy markets team by providing technical expertise;
- Analytical support to the trading teams;
- Working with systems support regarding developments and upgrades;
- Stakeholder management and business partnering;
- Verifying models and quality of trading system tools;
- Developing market scenarios for the five-year business plan; and
- Performing quantitative analysis.
In return for a unique, yet challenging role you will possess a degree in mathematics, commerce or economics (or equivalent) and have experience working in a similar role within the energy industry. You will ideally have previous knowledge in developing, enhancing and utilising IT systems within a trading environment and superior quantitative analytical experience.
