DT Professional, a division of Downing Teal, is assisting Global Advanced Metals in recruiting supplementary labour for their Tantalum mine based in Greenbushes.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent, this position will be required to work as part of the maintenance team in providing an effective and responsive maintenance function to the Global Advanced Metals Greenbushes Operations. This will include planning maintenance of plant and equipment to achieve the required level of plant availability, reliability and capacity in accordance with operational requirements, establish and maintain a maintenance history for all plant and equipment, establish and monitor planned maintenance schedules for all plant and equipment, review, prioritise and schedule work orders, plan, organise and monitor planned shut-down maintenance, ensure the availability of adequate supplies of parts and materials to meet planned maintenance requirements and assist the Maintenance Superintendent and Purchasing Logistics Officer with the selection of new parts and equipment.
On top of the above the successful applicant will be a team player who will have a strong commitment to safety and be able to work unsupervised.
NOTE – Candidates should possess solid experience gained in a similar role.
Essential criteria:
- Trade certificate or equivalent
- 5 years minimum experience as a mechanical trade person (or similar industry related experience
- Experience in a similar position
- Experienced in Job Safety Analysis and Toolbox meetings
- Computer literacy skills, specifically the MS Office suite and Pronto (or similar computerised maintenance management system)
This is a day shift Monday to Friday 40-hour week position for an immediate start. To comply with the site’s fatigue management plan employees must reside within a 50 minute driving radius of the mine.
