BTP is a subsidiary of Ausdrill Limited, and is one of Australia's leading suppliers of mining equipment parts, sales and rental services.
Due to an increase in workload BTP are currently seeking experienced and trade certified Hydraulic Mechanic with previous experience carrying out strip, assess, rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders to join our dynamic team.
Duties include:
- Strip, measure, inspect and report on all cylinder components
- Diagnose hydraulic cylinder faults
- Cleaning and preparing hydraulic cylinders for paint
- Assemble and test hydraulic cylinders
- Preparing and packaging cylinders for dispatch
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings
- Follow all BTP procedures, policies and work instructions
General skills, experience and knowledge required:
- 2years previous experience carrying out a similar role.
- Automotive or Engineering Trade Qualification essential
- Certificate III and Statement of attainment/Record of Learning preferred
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic cylinders and testing requirements required
- Competent computer skills and knowledge of Caterpillar SIS
- Current forklift licence & DG Licence or greater preferred.
- Knowledge and the application of OH&S in the workplace.
