As our operations continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Underground Mining Engineer to join our expanding Raisbore Division.
Reporting to the Raisebore Superintendent, you will be employed on a full-time basis based at PYBAR Head Office in Orange, NSW. The successful applicant will work a Monday to Friday roster with travel to our various projects required.
As this position is residential to Orange, NSW the successful applicant will need to either reside in the region or be willing to relocate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ensure best safety management in accordance with the Company's health & safety system;
- Assist with the tendering process on new and existing projects;
- Provide technical support to the Raisebore division;
- Monitor and report on performance targets;
- Consult with various stakeholders and promote the knowledge sharing and distribution of information;.
- Provide technical input and solution strategies to site based projects;
- Assist in preparing monthly mining schedules and report to appropriate stakeholders;
- Participate in project work in conjunction with other departments.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree in mining engineering;
- Minimum 2 years underground hard rock mining experience;
- Advanced computer skills in Excel, Access, Estimating and Mine Planning Software;
- Ability to prepare and present detailed reports, excellent written and oral communications skills and well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, communicate, liaise and advise clients, management and staff at all levels;
- You will have or be willing to obtain a national police clearance;
- You will be physically fit and be able to pass a pre-employment medical;
- You will have a valid driver's licence.
