The Role
AECOM’s Resources Power and Industrial Business have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our well respected team in Brisbane.
This role will enable you to utilise your strong technical skills and knowledge, whilst further developing your experience with our multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled professionals. You will be supported by the team in gaining more experience, responsibility and client contact. This role will give you the opportunity to work autonomously as well as within dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
If you have experience in electrical systems (ranging from process instrumentation, lighting & small power, motor control, vendor package integration) you should not hesitate to apply.
In this role, you will be involved in all phases of projects; from feasibility studies, detailed design, estimates, specifications and procurement, with the possibility of site construction and commissioning assistance, travelling to client sites as required for short term assignments.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant working experience;
- Demonstrated experience in the design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls;
- Possess current knowledge of the relevant industry standards and the application in compliant designs;
- Excellent verbal and communications skills.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree;
- Ideally holds CPEng and/or RPEQ (or working towards obtaining);
- Experience in industrial electrical, instrument and control systems engineering.
