Boral Quarries has an opportunity for an experienced Quarry Supervisor to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations of our Linwood site.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure that plant and equipment are operated within safe working conditions and ensure environmental and OHS legislative requirements are met;
- Schedule and meet production targets;
- Establish and maintain high standards of work performance and optimum levels of product / equipment quality;
- Supervise and ensure that an efficient preventative maintenance program is achieved; and
- Ensure that customers receive high quality products and services.
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- Proven ability and experience in supervising a quarry operation (desirable);
- Trade Qualifications in a relevant field (preferable);
- Strong people skills and communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to lead and influence people; and
- Personal drive and results-orientation.
