The South Flank Project is being executed by a fully Integrated Project Team (IPT), jointly established by BHP and Fluor, consisting of employees from both organisations as well as other contracting organisations as applicable. The BHP Charter Values will underpin the success of the IPT and South Flank Project, creating a culture which promotes trust, team engagement and productivity.
The project has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Engineering Manager (Digital), to work as part of the Integrated Project Team in Perth.
Technical Capabilities & Competencies Required:
Experience / Skills
- Extensive hands on experience in Engineering Management, within digital 3D design systems (SmartPlant or similar).
- Proven working knowledge of 3D digital project execution systems (material management, cost control, progress measurement), including interfacing with similar design systems.
- Experience in the set-up and running of 3D digital project execution systems.
- Quantifiable experience in major project delivery ($2bn+)
Qualifications
- Engineering or Information Systems Degree and/or substantial proven record in a Digital Engineering Manager position.
Desirable
- Experience in Engineering Management (Digital) within the Australian mining sector (preferably within Iron Ore).
