Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Expat
We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our client in a Senior capacity at their mining operation in SE Asia. This role is based at underground feasibility study and supports a well trained and experienced Technical Services team that have ensured the early stages of the project and operation have run excellently, as Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be tasked with Geotechnical Mapping, Auditing and Continuous Improvement, as well as receiving excellent internal and external training so that you have every opportunity to progress through the organisation both domestically and internationally in the future.
Reports to: Technical Services Manager
Duties
- Geotechnical Inspections, Audits and Mapping
- Risk Management and Monitoring of Various Key Projects
- Geotechnical Core Logging and Continuous Improvement
- Quality Assurance & Quality Control Methods
Qualifications and Requirements
- Geotechnics , Geosciences or Mining Engineering Degree
- 10+ Years of Underground Geotechnical Experience
- Geotechnical Software Exposure
- Excellent Communication Skills
