Underground & Surface HD Fitters / Auto Electricians
Redfield Resources are currently looking for motivated and hardworking underground and surface Heavy Duty Fitters & Auto Electricians to join our WA team and work with some of the largest mining companies in Australia. We have both FIFO and LOCAL roles to suit YOU!

Underground HD Fitter / Auto Electrician
- Servicing, repairs, planned maintenance and attending breakdowns on Sandvik and Atlas Copco drills and associated (Boggers, Trucks, IT’s etc…) underground equipment and machinery
- Maintain machinery through inspections, servicing, diagnostics & general repair to scheduled deadlines
- Breakdown repairs and fault finding
Surface HD Fitter / Auto Electrician (ancillary ops available also)
- Responsible for mechanical repairs, replacement of mechanical components and tasks
- Working on heavy earth moving machinery experience (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi etc...) – Excavators, Dump Trucks, Dozers & Loaders
- Breakdown and troubleshooting repairs
- Mine site based roles on some of Australia's largest and newest projects
Workshop Opportunities
- Based in a state of the art facility you will be involved with the daily repairs, overhauls and rebuilds of our client’s fleet
- You must have advanced hydraulic diagnostics & component rebuild exposure
- Working Mon - Fri approximately 10-12 hr shifts with some Saturdays and night shift as required
- These are ongoing roles to go permanent
- Rates are $45-$50 per hour pending on experience
- These roles offer variety and diversity where you are not constantly working on the same component day in day out!
Requirements to be successful in these roles include:
- Hold an Australian Recognised Heavy-Duty Fitter Trade Qualification
- Electrical and air conditioning tickets desirable
- Previous experience working in mining environment is essential
- 'HR' Class Drivers Licence preferred for surface roles
- National Police Clearance
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- A strong commitment to safety
- Previous experience working on Caterpillar, Sandvik and Atlas Copco surface and underground equipment and machinery is essential
