About the role
Vertech are seeking locally based trade qualified Mechanical Fitters with Oil and Gas experience for ongoing maintenance roles in Darwin. Candidates with Rope Access experience will be looked upon favourably, alternatively Vertech will be willing to provide Rope Access training for suitable candidates.
While locally based tradesmen will be given priority for these opportunities, Vertech encourages interstate personnel who are willing to relocate to Darwin to apply.
Maintenance roster will be a 5 days on / 5 days R&R followed by 7 days on / 4 days R&R
Skills and experience
- Oil and Gas experience
- Trade Certificate
- Current First Aid
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Dogging or Rigging looked upon preferably
- Level 2 Flange Management
- IRATA Rope Access (Level 1, 2 or 3) - Vertech will consider providing training for suitable candidates that do not currently hold this certification
