Due to project success, Downer is seeking a Site Electrical Supervisor to deliver optimal project outcomes on our Murra Warra Wind Farm Victoria Project by providing day to day leadership to work crews and subcontractors, reporting into our Melbourne CBD office. This role will see you coordinate multiple disciplines on site including, civil, structural and commissioning.

Previous experience coordinating and scheduling resources, plant and equipment, travel, accommodation, and materials on allocated projects will be essential. Experience in HV Infrastructure/Utilities industry sector will be looked upon favourably. This position will see you working on a roster – 11 days on, 3 days off. A thorough understanding of high voltage electrical infrastructure will be critical in this position. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines as well as developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You must have a good work ethic, be able to work effectively in a team, adaptable to the change.

ABOUT YOU

  • Electrical trades or engineering qualifications
  • Educational qualification in frontline management or equivalent
  • Ability to supervise work crews and ensure compliance to established work instructions and SWMS requirements
  • Available to work from 6.30am – 6.00pm on a roster 11 days on, 3 days off
  • Demonstrated experience managing the day to day activities of work crews including all site activities as well as standard administrative tasks
