It is Australia's largest tin producer, a significant copper producer and holds a pipeline of assets from exploration to development including the world class Wingellina Nickel Project.
We are seeking for Underground Mechanical Fitter/Welder to join the team at our Nifty Copper Operation.
Reporting to the Underground Mechanical Supervisor, to be successful in this position, you must have;
- Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance;
- Management of breakdown work;
- Demonstrated fault finding competence;
- General housekeeping;
- Experience with Conveyors, Crushers, Compresses and Underground Pumps; Underground Mono Pumps
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Must possess strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment in Safety;
- Team Player;
- Ability to take initiatives.
Qualification, Experience & Attributes:
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Minimum 12 month Underground experience in similar role.
- EWP, Telehandler, HR Truck License are desirable.
- Manual Class ‘C’ License.
- Working at Heights Ticket.
- High Risk Ticket.
- Confined Space Ticket.
