Underground Heavy Diesel Fitters
Haynes are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters for ongoing rosters. Currently, our client has the below opportunities. Candidates must be skilled in underground equipment, or have previous longwall experience;
- North Goonyella - Longwall Maintenance Roster, Tuesday to Thursday
- Mackay Town Workshop - Monday to Friday, Underground Machinery Diesel Fitter
- Mackay Field Service (Town Based) Diesel Fitter - Monday to Friday, Field Service
Experience Required:
- Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter
- Must have UNDERGROUND Heavy Machinery experience
- Underground Diesel Fitting competencies - RIIDES301A through to RIIDES307A
- And/Or previous Longwall Maintenance experience
- Experience on CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mining equipment from Haul Trucks, Dozers, Scrapers, Graders and Excavators
- Maintenance, diagnostic and installation experience
- An excellent work ethic, a strong focus on safety
- High degree of reliability and dedication to providing quality workmanship
Documentation Required:
- Diesel Fitting Trade Qualification
- Drivers Licence
- Passport or Birth Certificate
- Current Coal Board Medical with chest Xray preferred
- Current Standard 11 or Equivalent with underground component
