Glencore is seeking Mining, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineers who possess a strong ambition to succeed in the underground coal mining business. Opportunities exist at the underground mines in the Ulan Complex near Mudgee and Integra Underground Mine near Singleton. As part of this innovative program, you’ll receive intensive and practical training through our excellent, structured development program.

If you have completed university engineering studies and are looking for hands-on experience as an underground operator, we are keen to hear from you. This program will support you to gain practical underground mining experience and challenge you each step of the way – to think differently and ask questions. This is your opportunity to test your skills in real situations and develop a true working knowledge of our underground operations. At the conclusion of this two year training program you will be well on your way to an operational and/or technical career path with us.

Working as a member of the crew, you will gain valuable experience to support your technical qualification while making direct and measured improvements to engineering plans and standards. You will gain the essential front-line experience to ensure you are well placed to review, develop, implement and communicate engineering best practices.
