The Role:
This role is responsible for tendering, evaluation, award and post - award contracts management, for the following work-scopes during the FEED and execution phases of this new major offshore capital project;
• FPSO
• Subsea production system (SPS)
• Subsea umbilical, risers and flowlines (SURF)
• Export gas pipeline
• Operations support
The estimated total contract value for the work to be performed is in the region of $3 billion. Approximately 80% spend in contract services, 20% spend in direct material and equipment procurement.
Key Accountabilities
• Develops and approves contract execution strategies and contract negotiation strategies
• Develops and approves contract and procurement terms, conditions, compensation philosophies and contract exhibits
• Develops and approves project logistics arrangements and operations inventory management processes
• Prepares Supply Chain related deliverables at assurance gate funding reviews and at other corporate assurance reviews
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborates with corporate and regional category/contracts and procurement managers
• Ensures timely engagement with key stakeholders for review of key contracts
• Ensures adherence to contract management process to control change, measure and improve performance and mitigate contractor claims
• Represents the project to external stakeholders
• Ensures adherence to Australian Industry Participation plan

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or equivalent
• Minimum of 15 years of contracting experience, including 10 years of major international oil / gas project experience
• Experience in contracting and procurement on a major upstream capital project
