DFP Recruitment, partnering with a number of leading suppliers of mining and industrial equipment are now seeking applications from Heavy Diesel Fitters to fill multiple vacancies located in the Goldfields region.
These positions will involve both workshop based and field service maintenance assignments on a mine site in the southern Goldfields Region. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a chance to work a high volume of hours and earn competitive money. To do so, you must be willing to work away from home on a 2weeks on, 1 week off Roster..
We are seeking interest from safety conscious and team orientated candidates, preferably with experience in the maintenance of mining equipment, however any large diesel equipment would be beneficial. Previous field service experience would be well regarded but not essential.
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following skills / qualifications not limited to:
- Heavy Mechanic Trade Certificate.
- High Risk Forklift licence (favourable)
- Current Drivers Licence, HR preferred
- Clean Police check, Medical and D&A Screen
- High level safety orientation
These positions are offered on FIFO rosters but generally require you to work 12 hour shifts. Majority of these positions are offered initially on a temporary contract with potential for a permanent position being on offer for the right candidate after a qualifying period.
FIFO from Perth only. Residents of Kalgoorlie-Boulder encouraged to apply. Candidates willing to relocate themselves will also be considered for this position.
