The Position

Force Equipment are currently seeking trade qualified HD Mechanics for an immediate start in our Perth Workshop.

Scope of the role

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of earthmoving equipment components and perform the following duties:

• Ongoing maintenance and service of heavy earth moving machines
• Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets; and
• Working with Force Equipment customer to meet company objectives.

Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification with significant post trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar and Komatsu;
• A strong commitment to safety, health and the environment, with a proactive approach to housekeeping;
• Current Driver’s licence;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus;
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team; and
• A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship.
• Successful candidates may also be required to complete inductions, will be required to be medically fit and able to pass a drug and alcohol test as well as supply a National Police Clearance
