About the role
We are looking for a Technician Vibration Analysis to provide vibration analysis support, service and advice with respect to timely and accurate information to the Planning, Engineering and Maintenance teams.
This role is a great opportunity highly motivated individual who enjoys variety and working with a range of stakeholders. Reporting to the Team Leader Condition Monitoring, you will be:
- Undertake vibration analysis on a range of mining equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, motors and gearboxes.
- Carry out inspections on plant equipment and report findings and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the Planning, Engineering and Maintenance crews.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive reliability best practice.
- Drive and promote a safe working culture and zero harm approach.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A Mechanical or an Electrical trade qualification with a background in mechanical or electrical maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
- Category II Vibration Analyst certificate.
- Sound knowledge and experience in vibration analysis techniques and oil analysis.
- Strong focus on safety with the ability to communicate effectively.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Experience in condition monitoring, root cause analysis and machine failure investigation.
- Working knowledge of SAP, CSI software and associated data collectors.
- Thermography level 1 certificate with experience in shop and field balancing of rotating equipment.
