PWR are now seeking Emergency Services Officers to service our ongoing contracts and shutdowns. We are offering these positions on a variety of rosters to candidates local to Karratha/Dampier/Pilbara or on a FIFO basis from Perth.

Applicants must possess the following attributes and qualifications:

Essential:
  • Certificate IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or equivalent/higher
  • Certificate IV Training & Assessment
  • Certificate III Mines Emergency Response & Rescue
  • Certificate II Security Operations
  • Authorised Drug Collection Officer
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Marine Security Identification & Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • HR Drivers License
Desirable:
  • Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety
  • Issuing confined space, working at heights and hot work permits
  • Current Advanced Life Support
  • Operate and Maintain 4WD
  • White Card
  • Volunteer with DFES and/or St John’s Ambulance
Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of WA state emergency management procedures and policies
  • Knowledge of WA OHS Act and Regulations
  • High level of computer skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skill (written and spoken/reporting)
  • Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment & autonomously
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Previous experience in emergency response sector
  • Previous experience in security operations 
Candidates must be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing.
