The role:

This role involves training and developing all team members across the business to set a culture of continuous improvement. 

You will provide WHS advice, training and guidance to our teams.

You will be a champion of WH&S policies and improve the company safety leadership, safety management and initiatives across the entire workforce.

The successful applicants must have a proven track record as a safety leader and a minimum of the following:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Work Health and Safety 
  • Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety (Minimum Cert IV OHS/WHS), Diploma or Graduate/Post Graduate qualification highly regarded
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desirable
  • Sound knowledge and practical application of Workplace Health and Safety legislation, Workers Compensation legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards
  • Sound incident investigation, identifying and management of potential risk 
  • Operational experience in Fatigue Risk Management
  • Ability and willingness to visit site locations situated around SA, Victoria and WA
  • Forest industry experience would be an advantage but not essential

Knowledge in national heavy vehicle regulations or ability and willingness to fast track learning in this field would be highly desirable
