Job tasks and responsibilities
AWX currently have vacancies available for Serviceman.
These roles would be based in Mount Isa on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster and will be considered FIFO from Townsville, Brisbane and Cairns only. If you reside outside of these locations, you will be required to make your own way to either of these destinations.
This is a diverse role which would have you responsible for carrying out tasks directed to you by your supervisor. These may include;
- Assisting with overall maintenance on all plant & equipment
- Install, repair & replace mine services
- Paste fill reticulation
- Identifying & reporting faults
- Scheduled minor servicing
- Cleaning up worksites
- General underground labouring duties
Skills and experience
To be successful for this role you will need;
- Experience in a similar position is essential
- Valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass low risk JTE & Medical
- Strong commitment to workplace safety & culture of continuous improvement
- Great work ethic
It would be beneficial to have wet fill & paste plant experience for the special serviceman role.
