FIFO - Solar Project
We are currently seeking experienced project personnel for two exciting roles to support a major client in the construction of a Solar Farm in the Moranbah area. Due to commence soon, the project team will be based on site and work a 14/7 roster to deliver the project in a safe and efficient manner.
The Roles:
Commissioning Manager
There are limited procedures / systems in place for Commissioning so we are seeking a candidate with capability (and experience) in both developing and implementing Commissioning procedures, systems etc. The ideal candidate will be from an Engineering background and have experience specifically in commissioning of infrastructure in to the National Grid system.
- MUST HAVE a Bachelor or Electrical Engineering Degree
- At least 5-10 years engineering management experience
- Working knowledge of contracts and procurement
Project Engineer - Electrical
- Must have an Engineering Degree (Electrical)
- RPEQ/NPER or qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the solar industry
- Candidate must have RPEQ
- Solar experience desirable but not essential
- Must have HV & Switching experience, experience in construction & commissioning of substations, power generation facilities, SCADA, site experience (as opposed to purely a design office candidate)
