About the role
As the Lynwood Quarry Manager you will have ultimate responsibility and accountability for leading exceptional safety and operational performance, at Holcim's flagship Quarry.
Specifically, your responsibilities cover all aspects of the operation from drill, blast and haulage activities through crushing and screening to stockpiling, dispatch and maintenance.
You will lead a high performing multidisciplinary team with the aim of providing efficient and effective production in a safety focused environment.
The position reports to the Sydney Aggregates Manager and will also work closely with other operations in the business to develop strategies and deliver operational goals for the region.
About you
- Have a strong culture of safety leadership with a working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Can identify, quantify and implement operational improvement and cost saving initiatives
- Have strong customer focus, you will work with sales and technical teams to deliver key business objectives
- Proven ability to build and develop high performing teams
