Job tasks and responsibilities
AWX currently have multiple vacancies available for Prep Crew.
These roles would be based in Mount Isa on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster and will be considered FIFO from Townsville, Cairns and Brisbane only! If you reside outside of these locations, you will be required to make your own way to either of these destinations.
This is a diverse role which would have you responsible for carrying out tasks directed to you by your supervisor. These may include;
- All tasks associated with development face preparations
- Identifying & reporting faults
- Operating equipment
- Fixing overheads
- general underground labouring duties
Skills and experience
To be successful for this role you will need;
- Experience in the same or similar position is essential
- Valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass low risk JTE & Medical
- Strong commitment to workplace safety & culture of continuous improvement
